If it is your first time starting the program, yes you do have to come into the office to see one of our ATIMAP physicians; it is a requirement of Texas State Medical Board that patients are to be seen once every year. Depending on your BMI (Body Mass Index), you may also be required to come in for a follow up office visit. If you are an existing patient and have already seen one of our ATIMAP physicians, then you can go online and request a refill, unless otherwise noted by the Physician or it has been a year since you last seen one of our ATIMAP physicians.
For new and yearly (follow up) patients the program is $100 which covers your office visit and consultation with a physician. It does not, however, cover the cost of the medication(s) that you pick up at your pharmacy. All refill requests and follow up office visits are only $80, that again, does not cover the medication(s) you pick up at your pharmacy. Prices are subject to change.
That is strictly up to the pharmacy where you pick up the medication(s). Every pharmacy is different.

No, unfortunately we are only allowed to call prescriptions in state, as our physicians are only licensed in the state of Texas. The best thing to do is submit a progress report as soon as you return.
If submitted before 1 pm the prescription will be called in same day, with the exception of weekends and holidays. Be sure to check your pharmacy after 5pm. If submitted after 1pm then they will be called in the following day, again, with the exception of weekends and holidays. Check your pharmacy after 5pm on the following day. Please make sure you list a correct pharmacy number, if wrong, it can cause delays with your prescription being called in and will not be filled until we hear back from you. Be sure when calling your pharmacy to speak to a live person because the automated system isn’t always updated promptly.
