She also holds a Master’s Degree in Health and Human Performance from Austin Peay State University. She specializes in the area of diabetes so as to offer empathy in your journey, and has a wealth of resources to help you to succeed if you suffer from this. She has two daughters, two grand princesses and finally a grand KING! She enjoys travel, cooking, walking, volunteering and finding treasures at yard sales and the Goodwill.

She is accomplished in both healthcare clinical and business pursuits, and has experience in providing quality patient care and leading stand-alone clinics. She possesses a track record of excellent patient-centric performance as well as developing high-quality care teams. She has a solid history of working with providers throughout the continuum of care, with experience treating acute and chronic illnesses for pediatric, family, and geriatric populations.  Notes: The provider has two children ages 2 and 4 that like to keep our household busy! She has been a registered nurse since 2007 and a nurse practitioner since 2014. Her clinical background includes labor and delivery, GYN surgery, cardiology, women’s health, urology and primary care. One of the things that attracted her to the Absolutely Thin family is her own struggles with weight management, and her desire to help others navigate this challenging health issue. She has been overweight to obese for most of her adult life, even dating back to her childhood and teenage years. Fad diets, dietary supplements, I’ve tried them all. I lost over 100 pounds with medication, diet modification, and finding exercise I enjoy. To use a running metaphor, lifestyle change is a marathon, not a sprint.
